Ean Eldred’s passion for design, building and fabrication began while working with his father Dale Eldred on national and international sculpture projects. He studied at the Kansas City Art Institute continuing on to claim a BA in Architecture from Cooper Union. Ean was a founding member of RIGGA art, architecture and design – a collaborative that merged art, architecture and performance. His collaborative experience continued with N.E. Works , EldredKashiwabara and the current rhiza A+D, which continues to develop an inter-disciplinary practice in architecture, installation and public art. Ean has served as guest critic at U of O’s architecture school, taught urban drawing at PNCA and served as juror on many public art and art selection panels.
